Hazardous Materials |

|
All hazmat employers are required by U.S. law to obtain hazmat training for their hazmat employees - and the government's definition of who is a hazmat employer is VERY broad (including practically all aeronautical repair stations, and most other aviation businesses). FAA Order 8300.10 now requires FAA principal inspectors to check your hazmat compliance! The Washington Aviation Group, in partnership with AEA, ARSA and ASA, offers hazardous materials/dangerous goods training. The training class is two days long and it meets the training requirements of Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations as well as the IATA/ICAO requirements. The registration fee includes all books and materials, as well as lunch on each day. Those who successfully complete the class will receive a training certificate as well as a record of training suitable for retention in company personnel files. Members of the sponsoring trade associations (AEA, ARSA and ASA) receive a discount on registration (see below for prices). Need to know more? You can find answers to many of your questions on our Frequently Asked Questions page. You can find out more about our hazmat instructor here. Our 2008 class schedule is complete. We will be posting our 2009 class schedule soon. |
