Jason Dickstein

Jason Dickstein is the instructor for all hazardous materials training classes offered by the Washington Aviation Group.  Mr. Dickstein is a practicing attorney whose practice is focussed on the aviation industry.

Hazmat Experience

Mr. Dickstein has consulted with companies in the United States and Europe on hazmat/dangerous goods compliance.  He has represented companies accused of hazmat violations before the FAA and RSPA (RSPA is the predecessor organization to PHMSA).  He has been involved with the APA Rulemaking Process for hazmat rules.  He started teaching hazardous materials transportation safety classes in 2000.

1988-1989
 Tufts University, Experimental College, Instructor Taught a class entitled "Order in Chaos" that examined the impact of cutting edge mathematics and physics on the day-to-day world
1993-1997
 Northern Virginia Law School, Adjunct Faculty
 Taught Antitrust Law (intro and advanced seminar), Civil Procedure, Corporate Law, Conflicts of Law, Employment Law, Ethics and Professional Responsibility, and Labor Law
1998-present
 Corporate Training Classes in aviation regulations, business topics, export compliance, intellectual property protection, hazmat shipping  - Presentations, seminars, and classes for company-clients and for trade association clients
1994-present
 Speaker at Industry Events
 Speaker on a variety of legal and business topics affecting the aviation industry.  Events have included trade association meetings (AEA, ARSA, ASA, MARPA, NATA, PAMA), Air Carrier Purchasing Conference (ACPC), Conference on Quality in Commercial Aviation (CQCA), DOD Maintenance Symposium, FAA SUPs Training, FAA Safety Seminars, and FAA DER Training.
